Where do we start... "Thank you," I guess would be the best. I have been meaning to get this out for about a month now, but thanks to a fabulous agent we have been busy being new home owners. From the very start of the entire house-buying process, your guidance was prudent, kind and helpful, and I felt utterly confident that I could not only ask the most basic of questions, but receive an honest and useful answer from you. Even just your initial advice to take a first-time home buyers' course, along with the information on where to find one, was spot-on. By taking that course, we learned so much, found a mortgage to work with, and received down payment assistance. Without your encouragement we may never have taken it!
As we moved into the process of narrowing our search, I felt that you deftly helped us to whittle down our "wants" and "needs," and identify what it was we were looking for, bringing us only to homes that you felt met our needs and your standards both. You were patient with us we looked in every nook and cranny, and you were quick to point out any and all flaws you found in a home. All of that built up a trust in you, personally, that made your opinion incredibly valuable to us. When we found the right home, and asked you honestly if you felt it was worth an offer and just right for us, I absolutely trusted your "Yes."
From that point on, I was impressed with your continued dedication to our purchase. Your advice on our offer was likely the very reason that we got our house that we now love so much. Beyond that, your help during the processes of inspection, walk-throughs and closing was incredible. I never felt that we were on our own. I sincerely felt that we had an advocate and friend, someone to make sure all the i's were dotted, t's crossed, water meters read, and ordinances met- I mean, really, you even called the City about our garage overhang to be sure it would be insured! I can't imagine that there are many real estate agents out there who would truly treat their client's purchase as if it were their own.
